I am going to be brief. My trip was pretty interesting. I getting to the airport and everything seem normal. However my surgically hand is sore from moving tables. And that surgery was a bitch. As long as it is just sore I am fine I think to myself.
When I get to the security area I am totally not on my “A” game. I forgot to take of my shoes and my belt causes the alarm to go off. I was trying to get through the checkpoint while steadily thinking about the wooden box of cigars that probably resemble a box of dynamite. LMAO, somehow I make it through.
I grab a beer and wait for my 6:45 flight. I head on over afterwards only to see it was delayed. I am now leaving at 8:00. This is fine to me. So I head to the bar and watch more NBA action. I head over and guess what? My new departure time is 8:30. So I chill at the gate. Everything is going as well as I could expect until I’m told the new time is 9:38.
So I grab my stuff, put on my iphone (Project Pat) and go to the bar. I stay there until 9:00 and head back to my gate. Guess what? It is empty. The plane apparently came early and I was totally unaware of the change of time.
Once again I am not upset. It would be pointless to be upset. Nobody told me to leave the area, or they have my head phones one. All I could do now is explain what happened and get new tickets. This was done in 5 minutes and my arrival time was changed from initially 1AM to 9:09AM. Oh well, at least I would get there.
Fast forward a few hours. I’m now on the crappy plane which seems to have seats for small men and little teenage girls. I truly hate flying anyways and now to be uncomfortable just sucks ass. All I can think of when I land I got to smoke a cigar. Then it hit me. Where were my keys? Oh yeah, now I remember. I left them in the bowl at the TSA security checkpoint in Phoenix. SMH. My keys to the truck, car, the house in phoenix, the house in Indy, and my two usb drives, lost.
Great trip so far I thought. Sure there were some crappy moments, but I did get home safe. TSA passed my keys on and I get them next Tuesday. And on an unrelated note. Items I ordered for my camera arrived a day after I left Phoenix. LOL.
